Single, old, tired, and cancer survivor. Turns out Agent Orange really will give you cancer and try to kill you. Radiation therapy and catching it early saved me. Spent 9 years in Texas prisons, 1 year Death Row in Starke. Moved around a lot: Colorado, Massachusetts, Arizona (2x), Texas, Vietnam, Thailand, Nebraska (why??), with lots and lots of side trips along the way, and always end up back in Florida. Worked all different things, jewelry sales, grocery wholesaler, master gunsmith, and for city of Jacksonville. Spent two and a half years in Texas on horseback as a cowboy working cattle (second dumbest animal alive). 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week, in a saddle will cure you thinking horseback riding is something to do for fun.
(Oh yeah, I was working as corrections officer in Texas and Florida prisons, not a convict). I have 105 hours of college credits, and no degree, that’s gotta be some kind of record. Kept changing my majors for no particular reason, every time I moved, and what’s good towards one school won’t transfer to another school. But I did get to tutor, math and English, that was fun. But, I’ve given up on the degree thing. Now I’m retired and just hang around irritating Pogo the dog, and looking for my pants. I still get nervous when Friday the 13th comes on a Tuesday.
